Pathfinder Tactical offers the only formal underground combat operations training in the United States (possibly to world).

Our lead instructor has been classified by SOCOM as THE Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Underground/Cave Combat; the only SME they could locate.

Our training is the only training like it available and if your unit is tasked with underground operations, tunnel assault or cave/tunnel clearing; you need our training.
Operation Mongoose - DOD Photo Special Operations personnel and regular infantry are increasingly positioned in terrains where enemy combatants hide in mines or caves, often man-made. An understanding about where mines and caves may occur can be of value during reconnaissance and pursuit operations. This course will introduce the soldier to those elements of geology that relate to mineral deposits, where mines are located, rock formations that can be excavated to create a man-made cave, and rock types that may host natural caves.

The location of mines and caves can be predicted from a basic knowledge of local geology. The entrance(s) to mines and caves is often obscured, but once again can be predicted based on exposures of mineralized rocks in the case of mines, and the attitude of certain rock units in the case of caves. Mines often have more than one entrance and an understanding of how and why mine tunnels are dug can help predict where other entrances may be present.
